Uma is a professional Bharata Natyam Dancer, Teacher and a Choreographer. She has been performing at professional venues since 2012.
Training & Gurus
Uma Govind has trained in Bharata Natyam under the supervision of Guru Smt. V Mydhili in Trivandrum. After her Graduation in Physics, she completed her Masters in Bharata Natyam from Bharathidasan University with distinction.
She is currently undergoing advanced training under Kalaimamani Smt Rama Vaidyanathan from Delhi and Smt Bragha Bessell and Smt Priyadarshini Govind from Chennai.
